Synopsis

After 35 years as a couple and 15 years of marriage, Thom and Henri live in a house in Les Marolles, a working-class neighbourhood in Brussels, right next to the Palais de Justice. When Henri retires as a cop, Thom, an antique dealer, discovers a side of Henri he’s never seen before. Their marriage is on the rocks.
Henri has a hard time adapting to his new life as a pensioner. He misses his work and can’t imagine spending the rest of his life with Thom. He takes refuge in the Grindr dating app and sinks into a silence that is humiliating for Thom. When Henri deigns to answer questions, he does it by e-mail, showing that Thom no longer really exists in his eyes.
