Camerimage: Brussels, Capital of Film Opportunities

At the 2017 Camerimage Festival (held in Bydgoszcz, Poland), screen.brussels, in close collaboration with Brussels Invest & Export, organised a seminar to present the Brussels audio-visual offer to Polish producers.

Titled Brussels, European capital of film opportunities, this seminar was attended by about thirty film professionals from Poland and abroad. They learned about the funding mechanisms available in Brussels, in particular the famous Tax Shelter, which was presented by corporate attorney Philippe Vlaemminck from the Brussels law firm Pharumlegal, which also operates in Poland, and of course, screen.brussels fund, which was presented by Noël Magis.

This event also provided an opportunity to give an overview of the development of the Mediapark project, the city’s new district dedicated to media and audio-visual companies. Businesses are already setting up shop there.
You can view the presentation of the seminar on the Camerimage website

As all our guests emphasize – CAMERIMAGE is unique. The Festival proves to be a great forum not only for presentation but also for further development of international moviemaking. CAMERIMAGE helps young filmmakers and integrates the community of those already recognized, allowing them to explore new artistic areas.
