C’est dans le cadre du Festival Camerimage 2017 (à Bydgoszcz - Pologne) que screen.brussels, en étroite collaboration avec Brussels Invest & Export, a organisé un séminaire présentant l’offre audiovisuelle bruxelloise aux producteurs polonais.
Intitulé Brussels, European capital of film opportunities ce séminaire a rassemblé une trentaine de professionnels polonais et étrangers qui ont pu découvrir les mécanismes de financement disponibles à Bruxelles, notamment le célèbre mécanisme Tax Sheter présenté par l’avocat d’affaires Philippe Vlaemminck du Cabinet bruxellois Phaerum Legal bien implanté en Pologne et, bien entendu le screen.brussels fund présenté par Noël Magis.
Cet évènement fut également l’occasion de présenter les grands axes de développement du projet mediapark, le nouveau quartier de ville dédié aux entreprises media et audiovisuelles qui voit déjà certaines entreprises d’y implanter.
