Menuetto is a Belgian independent film & tv production company, specializing in author driven fiction and documentary with mainstream potential.
Menuetto was founded in 2017 by Hans Everaert, previously business director of the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) and general manager of Menuet (production company of GIRL, THE BROKEN CIRCLE BREAKDOWN, THE MISFORTUNATES etc). Menuetto continues the know-how and network of Menuet in a new structure.
In 2021, we won the Audacity Prize at the Cannes Film Festival (Un Certain Regard) with LA CIVIL and were nominated by the American trade magazine Variety as one of their "Ten Producers to Watch" worldwide. In 2022, THE EIGHT MOUNTAINS won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival (Official Competition). In 2023, the WW II drama WILL was the best grossing Belgian film at the box office and was released worldwide on Netflix in 2024.
