Versus (Opus) was founded in 2024 as the result of a collaboration between two prominent figures in Belgian filmproduction: Jacques-Henri Bronckart, head of the Liège-based company Versus Production since 1999, and Bert Hamelinck, director of the Antwerp-based Caviar since 2002. Together, these seasoned producers have worked onover a hundred feature films and have earned prestigious awards across the globe. This merger aims to adapt toevolving market dynamics by pooling resources, expanding creative horizons, and strengthening their position amid growing competition.
