Synopsis
Each year, 15,000 African footballers travel to Europe to realize their dream of becoming a professional player. Most will not have a career in football and yet they remain in Europe without papers. These players fail in the squares of the periphery of the big European cities. There, they train to keep fit, hoping to break a day. "SIDELINE" follows the path of three of these players in two neighborhoods: "De Luchtbal" in Antwerp and "La Roue" in Anderlecht.
