Synopsis

Denis Mukwege, Congolese doctor and 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner, risks his life to become the saviour of raped and mutilated women, campaigning for their rights, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where rape has become a weapon of war. In his hospital in Panzi, alongside Guy-Bernard Cadière, a Belgian surgeon and pioneer in laparoscopy, he fights for the world to hear these women's cries.
