In his workshop, painter Walter Swennen invites us to an intelligent and playful discussion between his thought associations and creation materials, between a way of being and a way of painting. Born right after the Second World War, since the 1980s Swennen was been producing independent and radical works. He makes fun of language. When words dance around and paintbrushes get involved, painting remains master of the game, becoming the referee of images and words.
