Peppino Lo Cicero, a retired contract killer, loyally carried out the orders of his Naples Camorra bosses his entire life. He is proud of his son Nino, who is climbing the ladder of organised crime. However, Nino is ambushed and killed in cold blood. He dies in the dark narrow streets of Naples. Peppino, a man of honour, sees but one option: revenge. He goes looking for his son's killers and the beautiful black revolver he gave to Nino the last evening they saw each other. He looked for help from his old friend Totò who still has contacts with the Camorra gang and with Rita, the woman Peppino has always loved. Both agree to help him out.
