I'm a commercial & IP law lawyer, with 9 years' experience advising and assisting clients in various industries, however with a specific interest in the creative industries. I practice in all main fields of general business law as well as in the field of IP law. In addition, as a part-time assistant at the KULeuven (at the Centre for IT and IP), I regularly publish legal articles and blogposts, speak at seminars/webinars and am a member of a number of (local) industry associations such as BMM and ABA/BVA.
My aim is to provide straightforward, pragmatic legal assistance to creatives, so that they can focus on the substance of their work and the realization of their creations. Having a background in art history myself, I am constantly surrounded by creatives in my (private) network. I support my creative network (from individuals and start-ups to SME's) by providing legal advice, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal assistance during legal proceedings.
