JORGE PIQUER RODRIGUEZ
Born in Almeria, Spain 1984.
Based in Brussels Belgium, he´s been involved in filmmaking as a cinematographer and colorist for the past 10 years. He´s worked on features, documentaries, short-films as well as advertisements. In 2006,he founded the production company La Ignorancia where he produced and co-directed different kind of shorts, dance-films, installations and performances.
(Graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Valencia he experiment with video-art and photography producing his first works as a visual artist.
After his studies, he starts in the film industry as a camera assistant, director of photography and self taught colorist.)
In his work, he is always searching for new possibilities in analogue and digital filmmaking. He has worked with filmmakers and artists such as with different artists, filmmakers and producers from many countries as Salomé Lamas, Tamer el Said, Marcin Malaszczak, Josephine Decker, Khristine Gillard, Jen Debauche, among others.
