On 9, 10 and 11 October 2017, the Brussels-Capital Region will be visiting the German capital to showcase its assets. Tourism, cultural and creative organisations make up the delegation led by Minister-President Rudi Vervoort and by State Secretary in charge of Foreign Trade Cécile Jodogne. The agenda for this mission is to strengthen the region’s position abroad, to boost the economy and highlight creativity. These three Brussels Days are organised each year in a different city (Tokyo, Milan, etc.) by the regional organisations visit.brussels, Brussels Invest&Export and Brussels International.

Brussels in Berlin: it’s an opportunity that screen.brussels couldn’t miss out on in order to further develop relations between these two hubs of the audiovisual industry. Of course, we will be presenting the funding mechanisms for international projects, which our producers master as veritable rulers of co-production (Tax Shelter, cultural and regional funds, etc.). However, Brussels also have a variety of film sets and a department that specialises in hosting them (screen.brussels film commission), as well as a highly innovative virtual reality industry, promoted by the screen-brussels cluster. And above all professionals who combine the search for excellence with flexibility and friendliness.

A number of Brussels partners will be participating in the different meetings with Berlin producers, during the co-production forum, seminars, networking workshops and a tour of the famous Babelsberg studios.
