Description
After having worked for ten years in production in Belgium, mainly with Climax Films («The Brand New Testament ») and Entre Chien et Loup (« Elle », Ari Folman’s movies, etc.), Sebastian Schelenz founded VELVET FILMS of which he is also managing director in 2016. The company has coproduced international feature films with the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Luxembourg and Canada, among others Joachim Lang's historical drama "Mack the Knife", Joachim Masannek's family entertainment film "Liliane Susewind", Chino Moya's black comedy "Undergods", Bruce McDonald's film noir "Dreamland", Ismaël El Iraki’s rock and romantic road movie “Zanka Contact” as well as the international TV series "The Window" written by James Payne and co-produced by ZDF Enterprises and Fuji TV.
