Festival coordinator in charge of logistics and promotion - CINEMAMED (Brussels Mediterranean Film Festival)
Since 1989, Cinemamed invites its audiences to discover quality films anchored in the Mediterranean landscape. Cinemamed is committed to promoting multiculturalism by highlighting essential themes. The festival takes place in December at Cinema Palace, Cinema Aventure, Bozar and many cultural centers in Brussel.
Besides the Official Competition, Cinemamed curates feature and documentary films about Mediterranean youth in the RêVolution Competition. In addition to these competitions, Cinemamed presents a documentary section (meDoc), a feature films selection (Panorama) and a few short film screenings.
Cinemamed is a place for reflection, meeting and exchange between people and cultures. The festival's audience gets to interact directly with filmmakers, profesionals of industry and various speakers during the screenings or debates that are organized.
The festival is a celebration of Mediterranean culture with a focus on cinema but the visitors are also invited to enjoy concerts, worklshops, and other activities for a full experience.
