Description
Sophie Schoukens is an art historian, master in communications & in film writing . With postgraduates in film financing and directing at EAVE, Binger Film Institute, Moonstone and Arista graduations. She received a scholarship with scriptdoctor Frank Daniel (at USC). She produced over 30 films winning over 60 international awards with the company Sophimages (www.sophimages.be). From 2001 until 2007 she was head of Development for the Media Program/ Creative Media. She also directed “Alice or life in black & white” (short) winning over a dozen of prizes at 141 fests starting at the Berlinale & ”Marieke, Marieke” her first feature(45 fests & 4 intl awards www.mariekemarieke.be)
