Description

Climax Films is an established film production company based in Brussels run and founded in 2004 by Olivier Rausin who produced over 50 films including 32 feature films. In 2013, Caroline Houben joined the company and is now partner and producer.

Climax Films has always been focused on high quality feature films, both independent films and international ones aimed at a wide audience. For the last two years, Climax Films has started to expand its activities to series productions and several projects are currently in development. The company works with international writers and directors and has co-production partners across Europe and North America.

Among Climax Films filmography, many award winning films and prestigious nominations such as The Brand New Testament (Le Tout Nouveau Testament) by Jaco Van Dormael (Golden Globe and César nomination for best foreign film, 4 Magritte awards, the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes), Séraphine by Martin Provost (7 César awards and other international awards), Mr Nobody By Jaco Van Dormael (6 Magritte awards, Golden Osella award and Golden Lion nomination), Les Emotifs Anonymes by Jean-Pierre Améris (best foreign film Magritte award, best actress César award), Black by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, or Largo Winch by Jérôme Salle.

Climax Films is currently composed of Olivier Rausin, founder and producer, Caroline Houben, finance manager, Guy Drouguet, production accountant, Julie Moraglia, development executive and Marie Charrieau, production assistant.
