SamSam is a pint-sized cosmic hero who lives on Planet Sam. He has everything he needs to be happy: great parents, nice friends, and a loyal teddy bear. But SamSam has one big problem: while all his friends are moving saucers using willpower or shooting lightning from their eyes, he has yet to discover his first superpower. Méga is a little girl who lives on a neighbouring planet, March. She has pretty much everything she needs to be unhappy: her father, Marchel I, is a dictator who hates children, while her mother will go to any lengths to turn her into an opera singer, and to top it off, Méga has no friends. However, she has one vital quality: determination. With her sights firmly set on making friends, Méga enrols in SamSam’s school under a false identity, unbeknown to her parents. She claims to possess an array of cosmic superpowers. SamSam helps Méga settle into school while Méga helps SamSam discover his first superpower: he can turn monsters into confetti! Everything seems to be going fine until, with the unwitting help of his daughter, Marchel I manages to create a monster, the Grisouillosaure, which turns everything grey and makes all the children on Planet Sam unhappy. SamSam is forced to confront this monster with the help of his friends Méga and his supposed power, which proves to be totally phoney. In this epic yet comical battle SamSam will discover his first real superpower: friendship.
