Arty Carsoel

Arty Carsoel is a three-sided townhouse designed by architect Pierre Debouck and built in 1957.It underwent extensive restoration in 2025. It now combines the typical volumes of

1950s architecture, the warmth of a lived-in interior, and a decidedly contemporary aesthetic. Arty Carsoel features:

o Two reception levels — (i) the dining room houses an impressive conference tablefrom the former Société Générale de Belgique, 4.20 m long and crafted from sumptuous varnished Macassar ebony veneer — (ii) the living room, featuring a warm

modular wall unit designed by Poul Cadovius, extends, in the warmer months, onto a vast terrace, creating a true second living room, where the boundaries between inside and outside

blur in an atmosphere evoking both the California vibe and the sunny elegance of southern Spain;

o a fully equipped kitchen with very elegant matte black cabinetry, complemented by its own, more intimate dining room, combining sleek design and conviviality;

o several levels of terraces, all furnished, and a tree-lined garden; an office centered around a striking Italian executive desk from the 1970s,

which appears to float thanks to its ingenious structure;

o a master suite, designed in the spirit of a luxurious hotel room, including, notably, a bathroom clad in bold, sculptural marble quarried from the quarries
