Our events venue is a historic building that was designed in 1908 by architect Louis Kuypers for a bakery cooperative, the Société anonyme de l'Union économique, known to all Brussels residents.
Now it has been rechristened "BLOCK", and refurbished to make way for a versatile, modular venue in the heart of Schaerbeek, Brussels. It offers great flexibility to meet the varied needs of events. Our multi-purpose space consists of an open, square-shaped room adorned with superb four-sided tiling, hence the name. Among the distinctive tiled pillars, two yellow-painted pillars catch the eye of the more curious.
Our key features include:
- Modularity: Easily customisable for various types of event, depending on space requirements and furniture layout.
- Accessibility: Located close to Place Dailly, in a secluded courtyard.
- Capacity: Can accommodate dinners, brunches, markets, conferences and more.
- Noise restrictions: Important notice concerning night-time events (after midnight) with noise nuisance for neighbours.
