Brussels audiovisual industry supports Ukrainian cinema

Given the current situation, screen.brussels has decided to dedicate a special envelope of €20,000 - taken from its production investment budget - to support the post-production of a Ukrainian film in Brussels.

This operation, called Ukrainian Film Nows, is organised by EAVE, First Cut Lab, and When East Meets West, in partnership with EFAD and CineRegio and under the patronage of the Marché du Film. Other European funds are participating in this operation.

In concrete terms, €20,000 will be paid to the producer of a Ukrainian film to help finance part of its post-production in Brussels.  The presentation of this operation and the announcement of the film supported by screen.brussels will take place in Cannes on Sunday 22 May from 5-7 PM: For those present in Cannes, registration for this event is available here
